Wetnose Day

Wetnose Day 2019

Wetnose Animal Day will be back with a bang on 20th September 2019 and we’ve already got lots of surprises in the works. So, whether you plan to raise money at home, school or work, order your fundraising pack now and get ready for the big day.

“As the number of animals needing homes increases, it’s so important to support the smaller rescue shelters across the country. Wetnose Day is a fantastic way of highlighting the amazing work we all do to ensure every animal finds a forever home. Get involved, support your local animal rescue shelter and help raise the profile of both the Wetnose Day campaign and all of the shelters that provide care for the many animals that are looking for forever homes.”

Quote from Spencer Harris - Community & Events Fundraiser

“Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter started in 1983 and our mission has always been simple. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, unwanted and mistreated animals and find them their forever home.”

“As a family we have two adorable dogs, Buddy and Rudie, who are loved and cherished every single day. Sadly some animals are abandoned, unwanted or mistreated, finding their way to rescue centres. The thought of any pet suffering or being abandoned is unthinkable to me but this does sadly happen, and is on the rise. This is why I’m so keen to support Wetnose Day.

Bye for now,
Andrea ”

Wetnose Animal Aid and Paws2Rescue present their Spring Party 2018

Wow, I am so overwhelmed today after a fantastic night last night. So many supporters came to support Paws2Rescue and Wetnose Animal Aid at our spring party.

With a million people to thank, I apologise if I miss anyone, because every single person there, and supporting our work needs a mention.

TV Presenter and Animal Campaigner Wendy Turner Webster:

“Whilst most people love the creatures of this world there are far too many who will abuse their trust and destroy their dignity. Numerous tiny charities pick up the pieces and can only keep going because of the help they receive from Wetnose. I have known Wetnose for many years and proud to help and support them”.
